- #10...
He is always available 7 days a week (yes, that does mean nights and
weekends as well.) He will return your calls within 1/2 hour, unless
he's with a client.
- #9...When
you give Matt a client to pre-qualify he will call the client within
the hour. He will call you with the results immediately after he hangs
up with the client. And will also run as in-file credit report for the
client free of charge.
- #8...Matt
can provide pre-approval letters that are tailored to your specific
needs in hours instead of days.
- #7...When
escrow is opened, he will call both the listing agent and the escrow
officer with his work and home phone numbers in order to make himself
available for their questions during the transaction.
- #6...Every Friday Matt will personally update the
selling agent, the listing agent and the buyer as to the progress of
the loan.
- #5...Matt will
immediately call the selling agent, the listing agent and the buyer
with an update when he receives the appraisal, credit report, or
underwriter's decision.
- #4...Matt
refuses to hand his clients over to a pool of processors or assistants
to talk to after he takes the application. He will personally be
involved with each phase of his client's loan from the
pre-qualification to the close of escrow.
- #3...He
will personally accompany all of his clients to the Title Company for
the close of escrow. If the escrow officer does not have time to take
closing signatures when the borrowers want to come in to sign, he will
hand deliver the closing documents to the borrowers and take the
signatures himself.
- #2...After
the close of escrow, Matt will mail a copy of the appraisal to the
borrower. He will also include a letter of thanks as well as an offer
to answer any questions that they have about the transaction or the
closing documents.
- And
the #1 reason you should consider using Matt Smith for your residential
mortgage loan officer is he will do his very best to make sure that the
client always knows that you, his realtor, are a professional that he
can put his trust in for any of his future real estate needs.
